MEET OUR TEAM
Dr. Mark Bernardi
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
As an avid athlete in his youth, Dr. Bernardi played soccer at Cornell University where he studied Biology and graduated Summa Cum Laude with research honors in Nutrition. He then went on to a clinical research career at the Harvard Institute of Medicine where he was a published author in orthopedics and sports medicine. Dr. Bernardi later received his medical degree from the University of California San Diego. While a medical student, he developed an interest in epidemiological health trends and global medicine. He has volunteered abroad in Kenya and Mexico and was the University of Nairobi School of Medicine’s youngest Grand Rounds speaker on U.S. Healthcare Policy.
After his emergency medicine residency training at the University of Arizona, Dr. Bernardi began complimenting his career as an attending physician with medical directorships for several medical spas and men’s health clinic nationwide. He has also been featured in Top Doctors Magazine.
Angelica Chang, MSN, FNP-C
FOUNDER
Founder of AIVI Aesthetics, Angelica Chang is a California Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of healthcare experience providing high quality and safe healthcare delivery. Angelica has been an avid beauty and skincare enthusiast growing up. She pursued her passion in aesthetic medicine in early 2019 where she trained with well-renowned physicians and aesthetic medical injectors. Her years of advance trainings and experience working under a plastic surgeon and various med spas expanded her knowledge and skillset in the field of aesthetics.
Angelica’s passion for aesthetic medicine and aspiration to learn new techniques cultivated her approach of safe practice while enhancing the natural beauty of individuals. She received her Master’s Degree in Nursing for Clinical Health System Leadership at University of Arizona and a Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at University of Cincinnati. Her main objective is to restore and harmoniously balance full facial features. She thrives to deliver the best possible outcome while setting realistic goals and expectations.
Lehi Lazo
NURSE PRACTITIONER
Lehi Lazo is a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner, dual-board certified in California and Maryland through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). With a Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University, Boston, Massachusetts, Lehi brings a wealth of experience to her practice, having spent over 15 years in healthcare. Her journey began in Pediatrics and the Neonatal ICU, where she honed her skills in providing detailed, safe, and high-quality care.
Lehi’s longstanding passion for skincare and aesthetic medicine drove her to transition into the world of medical aesthetics. Her approach is rooted in the belief that nurturing and accentuating each individual’s natural beauty is key to fostering confidence and empowerment.
Her commitment to lifelong learning keeps her at the forefront of the latest techniques and innovations in aesthetic medicine. Lehi’s combination of clinical expertise, artistic skill, and empathetic patient care makes her a standout in her field. Her goal is to help each client look and feel their best, enhancing their natural beauty while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and professional environment.
Shannon Ortega
