Microneedling FAQs
Is microneedling painful?
Most patients experience minimal discomfort. A numbing cream is applied beforehand, and any sensation is generally mild and temporary.
How long does a session take?
Typically 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the area being treated.
How many sessions will I need?
Results are gradual. Most plans involve a series of sessions spaced a few weeks apart, with improvement becoming more visible over time.
Is there downtime?
You may notice redness and mild swelling similar to a light sunburn, usually gone within a day or two. Makeup can typically be worn the following day.
What's the difference between microneedling and PRF microneedling?
PRF microneedling adds platelet-rich fibrin, drawn from your own blood, to the treatment. It can mean faster healing, reduced inflammation, and more pronounced results compared to microneedling alone.
How long do results last?
