What should I avoid doing before my HydraFacial MD?

To ensure a comfortable and effective HydraFacial MD experience, there are a few things to avoid:

  • Intense Sun Exposure: Avoid sunburns and prolonged sun exposure a few days before your treatment. Sunburned skin is more sensitive and may not be suitable for HydraFacial MD.
  • Aggressive Treatments: Skip waxing, laser treatments, microdermabrasion, or injectables (Botox, fillers) in the week leading up to your HydraFacial MD to prevent irritation.
  • Active Breakouts: If you have any open sores, severe acne, or a skin infection, it’s best to reschedule your treatment once your skin has healed.
  • Certain Medications: Discuss any medications you’re taking (including blood thinners) with your AIVI Aesthetics specialist, as they might affect your suitability for treatment.

Always consult with your AIVI Aesthetics specialist if you have any questions or concerns about preparing for your HydraFacial MD.
